Door Glass Replacement
Side glass usually breaks for one of two reasons: a break-in, or a rock off a truck. Either way the glass is now in the bottom of your door, and it has to come out of there before the new window goes in.

- Yes. The door card is removed and the door cavity, the regulator and the run channels are vacuumed out before the new glass goes in. Glass left in the channel is the usual reason a replacement window grinds or judders when it is rolled up.
- Do you replace small quarter windows and vent glass?
- Yes — the small fixed panes behind the doors and ahead of the mirrors are bonded in rather than dropped into a channel, and Safety Prime Auto Glass & Tint replaces those as well as the main door glass.

Clearing the door
The door card comes off, the regulator and the bottom of the door cavity get vacuumed out, and the run channels are cleared. Glass left in the channel is what makes a new window grind and judder on the way up.
If the regulator or the motor was damaged in the break-in, we tell you before we start rather than after.
Quarter glass and vent glass
The small fixed panes behind the doors and ahead of the mirrors are bonded in rather than dropped into a channel, and they are often the ones other shops will not touch. We replace those too.
